The date of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Admission Test for the Honors First Year academic session 2023–2024 has been released. The authorities of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) organised the 140th meeting of the academic council. The decision about the entrance exam for 2023–2024 was made at the meeting yesterday. Dr. Akhtarul Islam, the professor, confirmed receiving the notification.
On August 25, 1986, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology was founded. Another name for it is SUST. Bangladesh’s Shahjalal University of Science and Technology is located in Sylhet. The University of Bangladesh is a non-profit research institution.

SUST Admission Education Requirement:
- The applicant who passed the SSC or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021 and the HSC or equivalent exam in 2022 or 2023.
- Students Must have Minimum GPA 3.00 in SSC and HSC each exam and a Minimum GPA 6.5 in HSC and SSC for the A Unit
- For B Unit The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and HSC for each exam and a minimum GPA of 7.00 in HSC and SSC.

- To apply for admission in any unit, click on the ‘Apply or Login’ button on the Dhaka University admissions website.
- After clicking on the ‘Application / Login’ button, the applicant’s Higher Secondary or equivalent is displayed on the ‘Application / Login’ page Give ‘roll’ by providing the Roll Number, Examination Roll Number, Board Name and Roll Number of Secondary or equivalent exams Click on the button and the applicant’s secondary and secondary examination information will appear on the next page If you have the ability to apply to all the units, click on the ‘confirm’ button.

A committee connected to admission was established during the conference. There are thirty-two members on the committee. Professor Dr. Narayan Shaha, head of the department of forestry and environmental science, is the committee’s director. Professor Mustaq Ahmod, head of the department of civil and environmental engineering, is the committee’s secretary.

The Vice-Chancellor Professor advised them that, given the current situation, they were not able to take the joint entrance exam. The administration of the institution apologised to the students for this. Amidst student protests over the integrated entrance exam method, the university’s officials decided to scrap the new admission test process and date.
